After years of speculation, Sony officially set a release date for Bad Boys 3 last August (along with Bad Boys 4), although there was no word on whether stars Martin Lawrence and Will Smith would be returning for the next instalment.
Well, we now have confirmation direct from Smith himself, with the star revealing on BBC Radio 1 (via Complex) that: “I saw Martin [Lawrence] a few weeks ago. haven’t seen him for about two years. We just looked at each other. We hugged. In that moment, we knew we were making another Bad Boys. We’re definitely doing another one.”
Bad Boys 3 is scheduled to hit cinemas on February 17th 2017, with Joe Carnahan (The Grey) thought to be on board as director. Meanwhile, Sony also has Bad Boys 4 lined up for July 3rd 2019.
